LEGAL / POLICYTERMS

MySunDirection — an initiative by MYLINEHUB

Terms & Conditions

Every machine needs parts. MySunDirection develops India-engineered solar orientation and retrofit solutions through in-house engineering, integration and assembly of multiple parts. Our work is project-specific; the website is not a contract for supplying or installing a system.

In simple words

Visiting this website, viewing a design or discussing an idea does not mean MYLINEHUB has accepted a project or promised any result. The work, parts, price, safety limits, warranties and responsibilities are defined by a separate written agreement. These terms cannot remove rights or duties that Indian law does not permit us to exclude.

01Identity, initiative and meaning of names

MySunDirection — an initiative by MYLINEHUB. MySunDirection focuses on solar retrofit engineering, product development and project-specific assemblies. MYLINEHUB is the parent business behind this initiative. MySunDirection is not presented as a separate legal company. The full legal name, address, tax and billing details for any paid engagement will be stated in the applicable written quotation, order, invoice or Project Agreement.

In these website terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MYLINEHUB acting through its MySunDirection initiative. The initiative and its parent business must not be mistaken for two unrelated service providers. Independent component manufacturers, customer-appointed contractors and other third parties remain distinct, with duties determined by the work they actually perform, the written Project Agreement and applicable law.

“Customer” means the individual, organization or authorized representative seeking or purchasing services. “Parts” means any physical, electrical, electronic, mechanical or other components supplied, procured, integrated or assembled for a project. “Project Agreement” means a separately accepted written document specifying scope, deliverables, pricing and responsibilities.

02Website terms versus project agreements

These terms apply to browsing the website, using public information, making an enquiry and having preliminary discussions. Website content, a demonstration, a conversation, a budget estimate or a WhatsApp exchange does not, by itself, create an accepted engineering project, an installation commitment, a warranty or a promise of support.

No obligation to supply Parts, deliver designs, conduct a site visit, install equipment or meet a timetable begins merely because an enquiry is sent. A binding project commitment requires express acceptance of a defined scope in a separate written quotation, purchase order, work order or Project Agreement, subject to any applicable mandatory law or other valid contractual commitment.

Where the Project Agreement and these website terms conflict regarding a paid project, the specifically agreed project terms prevail, except to the extent a term is prohibited by law. Any unavoidable pre-contractual or statutory responsibility remains unaffected.

Plain meaning: No separate written project agreement = no automatic promise by MYLINEHUB to supply, build, install, repair or guarantee equipment merely because it appears on this website.

03India-engineered solution assembled from Parts

MySunDirection is an engineering initiative developed in India. Systems may combine individually sourced Parts, in-house designs, integration work, custom fixtures, software and assembly. The expression “engineered in India” describes engineering activity; it does not guarantee that every Part, raw material or third-party component was manufactured in India.

A project may include design only, selected Parts only, a prototype, a partially assembled unit, a completed assembly, consulting or other contracted engineering services. No single standard package or universally installation-ready product is implied. The customer's approved scope will describe what is supplied and what is expressly excluded.

04Feasibility, testing and right to decline

Every roof, array and existing structure is different. Feasibility depends on site conditions, physical dimensions, structural strength, wind exposure, access, existing equipment, permissions, technical specifications and cost. An early concept, video, diagram, example or estimate is not a finding that the customer's site is suitable.

Subject to any signed agreement and applicable law, we may decline a proposed project, seek additional inspection, propose redesign, revise a quotation or suspend unsafe work where essential information, approval, access or technical suitability is absent. Where a paid contract exists, changes and cancellation payments follow that contract and the Refund Policy.

05What must be written into a Project Agreement

Before paid project execution, the parties should specify, as applicable:

  • The contracting legal entity, customer, site, deliverables and exclusions.
  • Design assumptions; Parts list or agreed functional specifications; prototype or production status.
  • Who procures, fabricates, assembles, transports, installs, configures, tests and commissions each item.
  • Who evaluates the existing roof, supporting structure, mountings and electrical compatibility.
  • Applicable operating limits, safety provisions, maintenance schedule and handover/acceptance tests.
  • Milestones, agreed fees, taxes, additional expenses, delay handling, warranty, insurance and liabilities.
  • Any permissions, statutory approvals, third-party dependencies and post-handover support.

Anything not expressly included may be excluded from the scope. Where the responsible provider is legally obliged to perform checks, give warnings or meet specified standards, silence in a contract does not remove that duty.

06Customer information, property and access

The customer must provide accurate information reasonably requested about the property and installation, including existing faults, roof condition, water leakage, prior repairs, load additions, structural drawings where available, wiring and equipment condition, local exposure and any known safety issues. The customer must have the authority to permit an inspection and proposed work.

The customer is responsible for permissions assigned to them under the Project Agreement, such as ownership, landlord, society or other consents, and must provide safe and lawful access. We remain responsible for obtaining permissions and carrying out professional assessments expressly assigned to us or required by applicable law.

Incorrect or concealed information may require reassessment, redesign or suspension. Any related costs and allocation of risk must be assessed under the Project Agreement and law, not through an automatic blanket waiver.

07Existing roof, mounting and electrical equipment

A retrofit may introduce movement, loads, vibration and different wind effects to an existing solar installation. Existing roof slabs, waterproofing, steelwork, anchors, rails, clamps, frames, inverters, wiring, earthing and other equipment are not automatically repaired, replaced or guaranteed by us.

Structural suitability, electrical compatibility and the condition of existing installations must be reviewed to the extent required by the agreed scope, applicable codes and reasonable professional care. Do not treat an educational drawing as a structural calculation, electrical certificate or installation approval.

Where the customer retains an independent structural engineer, installer or electrician, their duties and deliverables must be separately identified. No clause here relieves MYLINEHUB or a contracted professional from responsibility for its own legally attributable work.

08Parts, third-party components and substitutions

Parts may have different manufacturers, specifications, ratings, lifespans, operating tolerances and warranty conditions. Product photos, prototypes and demonstration items may differ from the final approved supply. We may propose equivalent substitutions only in accordance with the applicable agreement and any required customer approval.

We will distinguish Parts manufactured by us, Parts supplied or integrated by us, and Parts purchased independently by the customer. Responsibility for conformity, instructions, warranted characteristics and defects follows the agreed roles and applicable product and consumer law. Manufacturer warranty conditions are not a substitute for any non-excludable legal obligations of the supplier or service provider.

09Delivery, assembly, installation and handover

The Project Agreement will state whether the customer receives individual Parts, kits, assemblies, prototypes, plans or a commissioned system. Delivery of Parts is not equivalent to an installed and commissioned machine unless the contract expressly provides so.

Responsibility for unpacking, storage, transport damage, assembly, roof access, installation, supervision, testing, commissioning, training and handover will be allocated in writing. Where installation is performed by an unrelated contractor selected by the customer, that contractor's scope and duties should be documented. Where a contractor acts for MYLINEHUB under a Project Agreement, responsibility cannot be disclaimed merely by calling the contractor a third party.

Inspection records, acceptance criteria, operating limits and any remaining punch-list items should be recorded at handover. Ownership and risk in delivered Parts transfer only as provided in the agreement and applicable law.

10Operation within approved limits

Any maximum travel, speed, load, temperature, electrical rating, environmental exposure, permissible wind conditions, shutdown condition or maintenance interval must come from the applicable approved documents, instructions and engineering assessment. We do not state a universal maximum wind speed, load or other operating limit on this website.

Customers and operators must not knowingly exceed communicated approved limits, defeat protective measures or operate equipment in an unsafe condition. Damage caused by misuse, operation outside clearly provided limits or unauthorized alterations may fall outside contractual warranties and may affect liability, as permitted by law.

Stating an operating limit does not excuse a defective design, inadequate instructions, negligent installation or other legally attributable failure.

11Wind, calamities and extraordinary events

Rooftop equipment is exposed to wind uplift, storms, cyclones, heavy rain, hail, lightning, earthquakes, flooding, temperature extremes, falling debris and other environmental events. Extraordinary events beyond a party's reasonable control may delay performance or damage property, and may be addressed under a project-specific force-majeure clause.

To the extent permitted by law, MYLINEHUB is not responsible for damage or delay caused solely by an extraordinary event outside its reasonable control and not attributable to its own breach, negligent design, defective Parts or workmanship, inadequate warnings or other legally attributable conduct.

The customer should consider suitable building, equipment and third-party liability insurance. Insurance responsibility, disaster response, inspection after severe weather and any required restart conditions should be written into the Project Agreement.

12Unauthorized changes, repairs and misuse

Unauthorized changes to Parts, supports, fastening systems, electrical connections, software, control settings or protective arrangements may compromise safety and performance. Where such changes cause damage or make a fault worse, the applicable warranty may not cover that damage, subject to law.

Any operation, repair, installation or adjustment requiring specialist competence must be performed by suitable qualified personnel. Where a known fault occurs, operation should cease where continued use would be unsafe, and the responsible service contact should be informed.

13Maintenance and continued operation

Equipment exposed outdoors can require periodic inspection, cleaning, fastening checks, corrosion assessment, lubrication, protective-device testing, servicing and replacement of worn Parts. The exact schedule depends on the final approved design and service arrangement, not on a universal website promise.

After handover, the agreed operator or maintenance provider is responsible for scheduled tasks assigned to them. MYLINEHUB remains responsible for any continuing maintenance, service or safety obligations it has agreed or must perform by law.

14Quotations, payment, taxes and changes

Website prices, examples and indicative budgets are not binding quotations. Written proposals should specify validity, scope, Parts, milestones, payment due dates, GST where applicable, procurement expenses and conditions for changes.

Additional inspections, redesign, site work, custom Parts, delayed site access or customer-requested changes may require a documented change order before extra charges apply. Cancellation, advances and refunds are governed by the signed Project Agreement, our Refund Policy and applicable law.

15No guaranteed output, savings or uninterrupted operation

MySunDirection does not promise a fixed percentage of extra electricity, a particular billing reduction, return on investment, payback period, revenue gain, 24-hour functionality or indefinite operation merely through the website. Marketing visuals, pilot demonstrations and projected performance figures are subject to stated assumptions, substantiation and actual site conditions.

Any express performance guarantee must be specifically defined in a signed agreement, including measurable conditions and remedies. Mandatory statements and remedies imposed by law are unaffected.

16Warranties, remedies and support

Warranty periods, exclusions, manufacturer warranties, support arrangements, spare Parts availability and repair or replacement obligations must be specified in the Project Agreement or supply documentation. A prototype or research trial may carry different agreed testing conditions from a commercially released product, but mandatory legal protections remain in place.

Unless expressly agreed, browsing the website does not entitle a visitor to installation, maintenance or ongoing technical support. Nothing in these terms limits a consumer's statutory rights relating to defective goods, deficient services, required warnings or other non-excludable rights.

17Allocation and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent legally permitted, MYLINEHUB shall not be liable for indirect, special or consequential commercial losses such as projected profits, anticipated savings or business interruption arising from events for which it is not legally responsible. A specific, reasonable aggregate contractual liability cap, if applicable, must be recorded in the Project Agreement rather than assumed from this website.

Each party remains responsible for its own contractual breaches, negligent acts or omissions, unlawful conduct and duties imposed by law. Neither MYLINEHUB nor MySunDirection assumes responsibility merely because independent third parties or customer-owned systems are mentioned, but no party may escape liability that applicable law assigns to it.

Nothing excludes or limits liability to the extent prohibited by law, including where applicable for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury, defective products, deficient services, negligent design or inadequate safety warnings.

18Third-party claims and indemnity

In a signed commercial Project Agreement, the parties may agree proportionate indemnities for third-party claims caused by a party's breach, unlawful conduct, unauthorized use, misrepresentation or negligent act, subject to applicable law and fair allocation of responsibility. A customer is not required by this website alone to indemnify us for our own negligence, faulty products, deficient services or wrongful acts.

Claims involving building owners, neighbouring properties, workers or members of the public must be handled according to actual causation, applicable insurance and legal obligations. A signed project contract should clearly describe notification and claims-handling procedures.

19Designs, software, research and intellectual property

Unless expressly licensed, our brand names, original technical drawings, concepts, layouts, articles, illustrations, code, documentation and other proprietary materials must not be copied, distributed or commercially exploited without permission. Customer-provided material remains subject to the customer's lawful rights, and third-party or open-source materials remain governed by their respective terms.

Delivery of physical Parts does not automatically transfer ownership of design intellectual property, source code or technical know-how. The Project Agreement should specify what documentation, license or source material—if any—the customer is entitled to receive.

20Website use, errors and external resources

You must not misuse the website, circumvent its security or infringe others' rights. We may update website information, correct errors or withdraw a proposed concept without advance notice, subject to existing contractual commitments and legal duties.

Articles, videos, external links and third-party references are provided for general information, not as a site-specific instruction or professional certification. We are not responsible for the independent content of external websites, except where applicable law requires otherwise. The Privacy Policy explains processing of enquiries and website information; the Disclaimer explains engineering limitations.

21Disputes, applicable law and revisions

These website terms are intended to be governed by the applicable laws of India. For project disputes, any mutually agreed complaint handling, negotiation, arbitration or jurisdiction terms will be stated in the signed Project Agreement, subject to mandatory consumer protections and legal jurisdiction rules. The website does not impose arbitration merely by viewing a webpage.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. We may revise these website terms prospectively and publish an updated effective date. Existing signed agreements are not retroactively amended by a website change without a valid basis.

Questions may be directed through the published MySunDirection website or its WhatsApp contact. For any signed project, use the contact and legal entity details shown in that agreement.
